Earlier in the Test, Misbah had performed push-ups after he scored his first hundred at this venue. The skipper revealed that he made a promise to Pakistan army of doing push-ups every-time he would score a hundred in England tour.

“It was my promise to the army guys in the Abbottabad camp that I’d do ten push-ups whenever I score hundred in England,” Misbah said at post-match presser. He further revealed that the salute was for the Pakistan flag.
